Special guest
A special guest on the album is Marjolijn Kaiser, she recorded a few pipa (4-stringed Chinese lute) parts in a song about the fall of a Chinese dynasty. Apart from the pipa, we also used the erhu, which is a 2-stringed Chinese violin.

Illumion has finished the album. It is mixed and mastered by Peter H. Boer at

Hunting for significance contains 11 original songs, mainly inspired by travelling experiences (Hungary,
China, a dive in the cold cold North Sea…) and books of authors/poets like Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka
and William Blake.
The turn of events is one of the main themes of the songs, as well as the fading dividing line between reality
and fantasy. And, of course, the great experience of tree-hugging will have a prominent place in our music :))
Hunting for significance will be as diverse as a broad-leaved forest in autumn!
